The Key Parameter: Load Capacity

Before choosing forks, be sure to match their rated load capacity against the actual weight of the pallets your farm handles. A standard Euro pallet of fertilizer or seed can weigh anywhere from a few hundred kilograms to over a ton, depending on the contents.

It's important to consider not just the weight itself, but where the load is applied - forks designed for an evenly distributed load at center can deform when handling loads with an off-center weight distribution.
